LOGOS University College, a leader and beneficiary of several Erasmus+ capacity-building projects and international credit mobilities, organized a one-day training session on July 2, 2024, at its premises. The event gathered academic and administrative staff to discuss strategies for facilitating the transition from higher education to the labor market.
The event began with welcoming remarks from Prof. Konstantinos Giakomis, who emphasized the important role and responsibility universities have in providing new opportunities for students.
The agenda included three training sessions. The first session, titled “Internship vs. Apprenticeship: Organizational Features of Apprenticeship Schemes in Some European Countries and the Role of Higher Education Institutions,” was delivered by Dr. Valbona Nathanaili. A key question debated in this session was: “Are the labor market and Albanian universities prepared to collaborate in offering degree apprenticeships similar to those available in developed and wealthy countries?”
The second session, “Presentation and Group Work on Case Studies,” was conducted by Prof. Konstantinos Giakoumis and MSc. Juna Muca. The training concluded with the third session, “Before, During, and After Mobility,” delivered by Dr. Konstantinos Dovolis.
The event was very valuable for the participants, who engaged in discussions at the end of the activity.
