OUTGOING EXCHANGE Academic Administrative Staff

3.1 Academic staff

3.1.1 Teaching

Duration: Erasmus+ program offers the possibility for teaching staff members to undertake a teaching visit to a foreign university, based on a "Mobility Agreement for Teaching", lasting from 1 to 8 weeks (the minimum eligible duration of stay for the activity is 2 days, however a minimum duration of 5 working days is recommended in order to make a constructive contribution to the teaching program and international academic life at the Host Institution) and requires a minimum of 8 hours of instruction per week (or for any shorter duration of stay).

The Erasmus+ program also provides for the possibility of mobility for a combined period of teaching and training, with emphasis on the new European priority for training, the development of pedagogical and curricula design skills in the field of Higher Education. In this case the minimum required teaching hours are 4 hours per week.

The "Mobility Agreement for Teaching" for the period of mobility includes:

·       the data of the host institution,

·       the thematic field, the number of taught hours,

·       the level of teaching, the objectives and added value of the mobility (both for the host institution and for the teacher),

·       the content of the teaching program, as well as the expected results.

It is signed in advance by the teacher and by the sending and receiving institutions.

The grant that is granted by the State Scholarships Foundation is considered as a contribution to the travel and subsistence costs incurred during the journey abroad (daily allowance determined according to the country of destination)

In order for a teaching visit to take place, this must be provided for by the Intern Agreement between the partner educational institutions (the LOGOS and the host institution).

3.1.2  The Outgoing For teaching or training mobilities based on the Bilateral Agreements that the University Logos has concluded with Institutions abroad, the academic staff of LOGOS, can go to teach at one of these Institutions

3.1.3 Conditions of participation teaching-training

3.1.4 How to participate to teaching-training abroad

Before the departure abroad what to do.

1st step at Logos University

Before you choose a university to apply for a teaching mobility you need to search the website of the host university and you need to find what subjects-lessons are suitable for you. Check the bilateral agreements.

You need to email or contact the host university faculty asking your colleague professor for more information. You both will need to agree on the thematic field, the number of taught hours, the level of teaching and finally he/she will accept you to teach.


Now waiting to be selected from the Host University. The results depend from the Host University. Results means they will send you a Letter of Acceptance or Letter of Invitation.

2nd step If you have been selected 

The host university will provide further instructions in your personal email to complete the Application.

What to do while teaching abroad

The staff during his / her teaching abroad must:

Send a photo of you, including the entrance of the Host University, or IN front of the board University, in erasmus@kulogos.edu.al and cc: anisa.duka@kulogos.edu.al


Visit the Office of International Relations / Erasmus of the Host Institution to receive the information guide of incoming staff and to note / confirm his / her arrival. He must do the same before leaving.

Send to the Office of International Relations / Erasmus of LOGOS the Certificate of Arrival (Certificate of Arrival)


What to do when you return from abroad.

Submit to the International Relations Office of LOGOS the following required Documents.

3.2 Academic - Administrative Staff training

Erasmus + program offers teaching/Training for Academic and administrative staff mobility opportunities for training in any public or private enterprise based in the Erasmus + country based on a "Mobility Training Agreement", with a duration of from 2 working days to 6 weeks. Usually, it is 5 working days.

 

3.2.1 How to participate in a traineeship abroad

Before the departure abroad - what to do.

1st step at Logos University

*If you do not have a passport in issue, do not try to apply you will be disqualify.

Inform the Head of your Department about your intention to participate in an Erasmus  Exchange mobility.

Before you choose a university to apply for a training mobility, you need to search the website of the host university and you need to find what traineeship are suitable for you. Check the bilateral agreements


When you chose then:

What to do during Teaching/Training abroad

The Staff during his / her Teaching - Training abroad must:


What to do when you return from abroad. Action 1

Within one week of returning from abroad, the Staff should proceed with the electronic completion and submission of Erasmus Participant Report in the mobility tool.

Action 2. Submit to the International Relations Office of LOGOS the following required Documents.

LAST, the faster you complete your steps in application process, the faster you receive your Grant. 

Usually, it takes 40 days , after the submition /completion of all the documentation to see in your Bank account about 70-80% of the first payment before your Departure. The remaining amount you will be received after your arrival.

Please, kindly understand that no one can guaranty us deposits before departure. If there is any issue with this stipulation, then please contact the Erasmus office 1031 to have precise information on the matter.
